To draw a 5 Lion:
Step 1: Draw a five.
Step 2: Give your five some teeth.
Step 3: Give your five a nose.
Step 4: Give your five an eye bump.
Step 5: I missed step 5! AGGrG!
Step 6: Make your lion some squinty eyeballs.
Step 7: Give your lion a backwards C shaped ear.
Step 8: Give your lion a chin.
Step 9: Give your lion a mane.
Step 10: Outline his face.
Step 11: Give your lion a back.
Step 12: Give your lion a tail.
Step 13: Let’s give him a leg.
Step 14: Let’s give him a stomach.
Step 15: Let’s give him another leg.
Sixteen…Step 16:
His feet are almost completely obscured by his giant, giant mane.
But you still should add some details.
Like two little toes.
And now, you have a 5 lion.
You can do a few more details.
Like give him some more movement in his mane.
Cartooning is fun.
Or maybe give him a rounder ear.
I don’t know.
You can do whatever you want.
He could use some whiskers too.
Lions are cute with whiskers.
Maybe even make his eye a little squintier.
You could come in and give him all sorts of details if you’d like.
I think five lions are adorable though, and they all just start with the number five.
That is how you draw them!

Before you start wood burning you need to prepare your wood.

Prepping your wood means sanding using low grit rough sandpaper and gradually using higher and finer grit paper until the wood is smooth to the touch.

This helps prevent your woodburner tips from dragging and leaving inconsistent burn marks  on the wood.

It’s not the most  fun task in the world, but it must be done and done well.

Sanding is dusty, try to avoid breathing it in.

Basswood is good for burning on.   Avoid wood with knots. Avoid pine and other sappy woods.

Do not burn into glues or plastics.  Beware of thin wood glued together in layers, do not burn too deeply.

Summary:

Buy some sand paper of varying grits.

Buy some wooden blanks (basswood is best).

Starting with rough grit (lower numbered) sandpaper, work the paper all over the wooden blank removing any splinters or uneven edges.  

Folding the sand paper in half or using a sandpaper holder makes this process easier.

Next move  up to medium grit sandpaper, repeating the same process of removing any unevenness in the wood.

Finally move up to finer grit sandpapers and rub the wood until it is completely smooth.

• Sandpaper holder (optional)

Hi everybody!

Ok,so today we’re doing step one of learning to wood burn

and step one is learning how to prep your wood pieces so that you get a smooth consistent burn

and basically all prepping your wood pieces means is sanding them so that you get a nice smooth surface all the way across.

So I’m sure a lot of you know how to do this, it’s pretty simple, it’s pretty self explanatory.  

I think of an orbital sander…I’ve heard conflicting evidence of what you should do.

But anyway, so I have  P100 sandpaper, gator paper.  This is pretty rough and I’m going to use that to clean up the edges there’s a lot of little fibrous pieces on these cheap little pieces of wood I got.

And I’m going to take all of that off with the rough paper.

As you can see, this makes a lot of sawdust, so it’s kind of messy….

So you want to be able to clean up the area or do it outside if you can.  

And once you get the sides cleaned off then you can clean   the face too…rough that face up.

And once you are satisfied that you’ve really taken the … the inconsistencies out of your face of your piece you can move on to slightly higher grit sandpaper.

So I’m moving on to P150 from the P100 and I just like to bend mine in half.  

I don’t currently have a sandpaper holder, they make life easier.

You can google sandpaper holder if you’re curious..it’s just a block that holds a piece of sandpaper.  

And I have one on order and it was supposed to be here today.  But it didn’t come.

So I am doing it by hand.

It’s not like it’s the most painful thing in the world. It’s ok.

So you just do the edges again the same way.

I like to pull the edges forward coming from the back and then pull them backwards coming from the front so you get a nice smooth edge no matter what way you grab the piece.

I wonder if you can hear my cat meowing in the other room.  

He’s very mad I locked him  out of here, but he was meowing so he was making way too much noise to be in this room while I was recording this video.

So out he goes while I sand my piece of wood.

Ok…

And now that I am satisfied with the P150 I am moving up to P220…there are finer grits of sandpaper…

This I think is pretty good for my purposes today.

The higher grits those are more for like in between coats of paint.

Adding a little bit of coarsity? to your paint so the next layer sticks without actually scratching the paint.

And I will also have some very nice fine grit sandpaper tomorrow.

But I don’t need it.

You don’t need it either.

You can get your basic cheap 3 piece sandpaper kit from your hardware store and that will work just fine for sanding pieces of wood.

Now let’s talk about pieces of wood that you should get and you should not get.

Pine is easy to get, a lot of people are going to try to give you pine if you tell them that you want to burn on wood…they are going to give you pine.

And it’s going to be hard…

Some people really enjoy it though.

Some people can get the hang of it.

They can deal with the sap.

But there is a lot of sap.

It’s like a sticky wood to burn on, so I recommend avoiding pine.

The best thing to burn on is hard wood.

It’s best….

Hardwoods are not the best thing to burn on

I just totally miss-spoke.

Basswood is the best thing to burn on.

Nice soft basswood.

The best thing ever to burn on.

Hardwoods are nice to burn on but you have to watch out for knots and any inconsistencies in the wood.

You want to make sure you sand them very carefully and just watch out as you’re burning because there are inconsistencies in hardwoods

and they are harder than in softwoods. Hahaha.

Alright so this little piece of basswood is pretty much as smooth as I’m going to be able to get it…

By hand with the amount of effort that I want to put into it.

And this is about perfect for wood burning on.

Nice and smooth consistency when you rub your thumb over it.

You don’t get any catches.

You can actually see, because it’s wood, so you can see the texture and where you might catch.

Then you can sand those places more.  

Now that’s it.  

That’s the whole sha-bang.

You just sand your pieces very carefully.

Watch out for inconsistencies.

Try to stay away from sticky wood, it’ll make your life harder.

Um…also stay away from any glue.

Don’t burn on glue.

Don’t burn on anything plastic.

It’ll be very bad for you, don’t do that to yourself..

PLEASE don’t do that to yourself.

Um…you can burn on …

you can burn on some woods that are glued together

You just can’t burn into the glue layer.

That’s the important thing. So you can burn on plywood, just don’t burn so deep that you are actually burning glue.

That’s really bad for you.

And no one wants you to die from  inhaling glue that you burned while you were attempting to make beautiful artwork.

That would be a sad way to die.

Don’t do it.

Um…

Anyway, have fun.

Get started with your prep work.

I know it’s a pain

I know it’s boring and I know you just want to start burning things because burning things is fun

But prep work first, then burn things.

It’s the way to go.

A short video with some timelapse artwork.

I used noodler’s ghost ink.

Ghost ink is invisible and fluoresces under an ultraviolet blacklight.

This looks like a blank sheet of paper in daylight.

Ghost ink would be perfect for making top secret invisible artwork.

I painted a sea theme using the ghost ink and my waterbrush.

My water brush is from pentel and I believe it is a small tip.

I use both a large UV blacklight spotlight and a small ultraviolet black light flashlight.

The paper I used was watercolor.

This piece took me about twenty minutes to make since it was just a doodle.

Summary:

Paint or draw with ultraviolet ghost ink.

It will glow under blacklight.

Try mixing with other inks for watercolor effects.

I have also mixed this with watercolors themselves with interesting outcomes.

Great for writing top secret notes to friends or crushes ♥

Write angry notes on your papers that your teachers won’t ever notice!

Use to prove authenticity of your documents.

Who needs art you can see?!  Haha!

Ultraviolet Art with Ghost Ink.

I’m using noodler’s ghost ink to make this totally invisible piece of artwork.

I’m just kind of doodling with a waterbrush.

I think it’s a pentel waterbrush,

probably a medium or small tip.

I love doing this,

this is so cool.

it’s under a uv ultraviolet blacklight,

and if you look at this piece of paper, which you will see later,

it is totally invisible…

unless you have a black light.

I kind of went with a sea theme,

slash mushroom theme.

I don’t think there are mushrooms underwater,

correct me if i’m wrong…

I might be totally wrong.

Maybe there’s a whole bunch of mushrooms underwater.

It would be a little weird to think mushrooms didn’t exist under water in some form or another…

Fungal form…

I don’t know.

I should google that.

Maybe there are no mushrooms under water.

This is sort of a weird mushroom clam thing

I’m not sure what exactly it is.

It is spotted though.

It is very spotted,

and patterned.

And it resembles a mushroom.

Yeah. just kinda having fun doodling.

Top secret invisible artwork.

It would be fun,

you could write secret notes to your friends or something,

on pieces of paper that no one would expect to find black light ink on.

And the cool thing about this noodler’s ghost ink is that it’s bulletproof and archival

so it should not (once it is dry)

it shouldn’t change.

it shouldn’t fade.

I’m sure if you exposed it directly to sunlight it would fade though.

I think that is just the nature of the beast with all artwork and all inks.

I’m not sure, maybe archival means that the sun can’t effect it;

but I’m pretty sure the sun can affect all artwork even if you use archival ink.

I really like spirals and squiggly lines,

they are my favorite  kind of lines.

I’m going to try using some phosphorescent ink next.

So the difference between ultraviolet and phosphorescent ink is

that the ultraviolet ink is only seen under a blacklight

while phosphorescent basically means it’s glow in the dark and

can glow of its own accord,

after it sucks up sunlight or some sort of light

from the surrounding world.

Then it can emit light all on it’s own, very magically.

Glow in the dark – it’s pretty cool.

My one beef with glow in the dark ink is that

it seems to be granier.

I think they literally stick glow in the dark powder,

which is the coolest stuff ever

and I plan on making a video about very soon….

I think they just stick glowing powder into ink.

Which i am very tempted to try.

I almost want to try it with my ghost ink here.

I think glow in the dark ultraviolet ghost ink would be kind of cool.

So I drew a funny looking seahorse and a funny looking jellyfish.

I think that’s a jellyfish…

yeah that’s a jellyfish… that is what I was going for.

Ugh I… I don’t know.

I probably could have pulled up some references for these.

But hey, I’ve already got a mushroom clam thing

that definitely doesn’t exist under water,

so my strange seahorse can look however I want it to;

and my strange jellyfish.

He’s a little flat.

I kind of ran out of space.

I should have made him a little smaller, but I didn’t.

I like his legs being big and obnoxious.

This strange pointy fish…

What kind of fish are pointy?

I think barracudas are very pointy…

but, I think they are longer and skinnier than this fish.

This is kind of a wavy skinny fish.

I don’t know, I’m just messing around,

just trying to show you how cool the top secret invisible ghost ink is,

and the cool things you can do with it.

I’ve also put this onto glass dip pens,

which is pretty cool.

Dip pens are sketchy though,

they tend to blob lots of ink.

Ok so this is what the ghost ink looks like under ultraviolet flashlight;

and that is what the piece looks like under standard ultraviolet conditions and

darkness.

Ever wanted to make your own invisible ink?  Tonic water might be for you! Maybe! Depending on your needs.

Someone, somewhere on the internet claimed that you can use tonic water as invisible UV ink.  I’m putting that to the test.

Summary:

Painting the tonic water on paper under a UV blacklight and testing with a UV flashlight occasionally.

Testing if tonic water glows in my bowl.

Inspiration:

I love making blacklight and glow in the dark art.

I love experimenting with different art supplies.

Someone suggested tonic water fluoresces under a blacklight, so here I am.

This is not my chosen glowy art supply.

I am not super impressed with the outcome.

I thought sharing my failures was better than pretending they didn’t happen.

Normally I mix up art supplies and make a glowy mess but this tonic water is just too darn sticky.  

This is not my finest art moment.  Eww.

What should I do next?  Lemon juice I think…

Can you make invisible ink with tonic water?

I read this somewhere on the internet.  

I don’t know where, if it was a pinterest post…somewhere

I read that you could make invisible ink out of tonic water.

Anndd… you kind of can…

It does actually kind of work.

For a buck you can get two liters of glowy art supply type fluid.

However, I don’t suggest this for any sort of legitimate artwork.

There’s a few reasons why.

It’s not very glowy when wet.  

As you can see as I make this video I have to make this paper so wet

with tonic water and it barely glows…

Annoying…very annoying.

It’s also full of sugar.

People don’t realize that tonic water has a bunch of sugar in it.

It does.  It’s really sticky.

And that means that it doesn’t really dry it just kind of turns into a sticky mess.

There are  some good uses for this stuff though.

I could see kids having fun with this and making some sort of blacklight art.

It could be kind of cool.

You could add some food coloring to it.

And in a glass it glows a lot better because there is a lot more water,

or you know…tonic water…in the cup.

It will glow a lot better in a clear glass under a black light than it will on this piece of paper.

So as an art supply not so cool…

As a glowing  beverage maybe a little cooler?

I don’t know who wants to drink a cup of tonic water though.

You could however make glowing jars.

That’s kind of what I was thinking would be coolest,

is to make a glowing jar of this stuff,

with some (you know) glow in the dark things also in the jar.

So it would glow really nicely under a black light at a blacklight party.

I don’t think I would ever use this…ever again..for making art on paper though.

It does work.

It does  glow.

Whoever said it glows was totally accurate.

However, I don’t think I’m ever going to put this on a legitimate piece of art.

I will not use this with watercolors to make glowing watercolors.

I will not make, I will not mix this with anything.

Kids could have  fun though.

I could see kids doing a lot of fun things.

You could make hand prints.

Finger paint with some food coloring or something.

Or maybe some watercolor, I guess you could use some Crayola or something and mix that.

Some sticky sticky UV paint for kids.

That would be kind of fun.

So you can see here how much better that glows in a bottle.

That looks kind of cool right?

Like you could actually make some cool party decorations using a bottle and some UV lights.  

That’s a little  UV flashlight and that’s how cool it looks in the bowl, it actually does glow fairly well in the bowl.

So this is after it dries, it actually glows better after it is dry than it does when it is wet.

Only like I said it’s not actually dry.

This is several days later.  You can see the sheen, it is sticky.

It’s not dry.

It’s sticky and gross.

I bet you could still smudge it.

I don’t know if there is any solution to that.

Today I am going to show you how to clean your dirty gross corroded wood burning tips, and make them look nice and new like these wood burning tips.

This is going to work for wire tips or solid tips.

This is a nice cloth that I like to use to get the corrosion off.

That is also a cleaning sponge (the white one) which is like a very fine grit sand paper.

This is some other sand paper I just have attached to a wooden block.

And when you are burning you are going to want to use some sort of wire mesh like the piece I just showed you.

Then all you have to do is gently rub your pieces, you don’t want to push too hard – especially on wire tips… against whatever cleaning cleaning source you’ve got.

Don’t get too crazy like I said.

You don’t want to push too too hard or you are going to damage the wire tips because they are just soldered in place.

And if you rub them too crazily you will wear down the metal and you don’t want to do that, you don’t want to break any of your very delicate
tips.

Like your chisel tips or your flat shader tips, you don’t want to push too hard on those and bend them out of shape.

That’s definitely not what you want.

But yeah you just take a few minutes and you very gently rub them against your cleaning paper or cleaning source and then you are
going to end up with some really nice shiny clean corroded…NON corroded…tips…

Nice clean shiny non-corroded tips.

Don’t those look nice?

They really gleam in the light now.

I like to do this before I put my tips away for storage and just regularly to keep them looking nice.

Hey there, today we are going to be making this!
Very very fancy
Magnetic Tiny Canvas
Blacklight and Glow in the Dark Art.
Some cute little hippy daisy flowers.
I used for the paint neon nights paint.
They come with 8 different colors I believe.
Yeah 8 different colors.
Here’s all the colors.
So many colors.
I find that you have to do a couple coats of this paint to get it to glow very well.
But once you do a couple coats it does glow really well.
I will say that much.
And under a black light it does glow really well as well.
So, what you need is a tiny canvas, the paint, some paint brushes…
I find myself using square tip brushes they seem to be… I don’t know..
That’s very much a preference.
You could use any kind of paint brushes that you prefer though.
You’ll need some water to clean your brushes off.
And that’s pretty much it.
If you want to see them glow under a blacklight you will definitely need a black light.
Then once you’ve gotten the piece to absorb a whole bunch of light…and you shut it off…
(You see this in complete darkness) Glowing! Glowing art!
The first thing you need to know about drawing little hippy flowers is…
That they are free and happy, like hippies.
So you don’t need them to be perfect.
What I normally do is start by drawing five points, like a little person, kind of like a stick figure, only with a long pointy head.
Then I just fill them in, I just fatten them up and make it how I want it.
And for this particular piece since we are filling it in with black you can kind of change the shape later.
Which I ended up doing with mine.
Is it entirely intentional all the time to change the shape of your piece?
No, but it comes out how it comes out..and that is the fun of making art.
And black light art in particular.
I love making black light art and glow in the dark art.
It’s so unique and special.
And at night when you are walking around and you see your painting glowing on the wall it just makes you happy.
It makes me happy.
I don’t know about you guys but I think it’s fantastic.
Alright so, the other things you need to know.
You need to do multiple coats of this paint.
So in this painting, this tiny little painting, I did three coats of the colored paints.
With the exception of the little tiny dots that I used as the centers of the flowers.
I only did one coat of that because I figured there was already three coats of glowing paint behind it.
It’s probably going to glow pretty well.
And I think it does as you will see at the end, or at the beginning, I haven’t quite decided how I’m going to cut this yet.
Either way (you’ll see it).
Three coats, let it dry completely.
If you get bubbles in your paint, I didn’t do it on this and I did experience some bubbles.
I have done research, they recommend using a hot ….
a hair dryer NOT a hot air gun.
DON’T use a hot air gun on acrylic paints.
You will burn the paints and they will shrivel up and it will smell really bad.
You don’t want that. So try the hair dryer trick.
Let me know how that goes.
Don’t blow any hair onto your piece.
I actually use a glass bowl to cover my pieces up.
It works pretty well, I have cats that like to walk around and step in wet paint and ruin things.
I love them, don’t get me wrong, they are amazing.
But they still like to ruin my paint.
So once you’ve got your three layers done, and your centers done. (Or you can do your centers last like me)
You can outline your piece, and I like to do the sides of the canvas.
I think it looks better if you get the sides completely done too.
I don’t know that might be total, totally my preference.
Let me know what you think, do you think it’s ok if you leave the sides blank?
Or half painted?
I think that is what gets me is that you always seem to get some paint on the sides and then it looks a little messy if you don’t just cover the sides. Just do something with them.
So they aren’t half painted.
Half painted doesn’t usually look good.
At least not to me. I don’t know.

I think the coolest thing about these tiny canvases is that they you can actually hang them onto your fridge.
They’re magnetic.
I tested it, it does actually hang which is amazing.
Now I will have a tiny little painting on my fridge. Which makes me very happy.
Ok, I found the little tiny canvases at Walmart and they are “simply brand mini magnetic canvas” is what this one says.
It’s always a good idea to prime your canvases if you don’t like the texture.
I really don’t like the texture of canvases.
I wish I had primed this canvas. It’s a good idea to do that.
Actually I was thinking I might try priming my canvases with matte neutral glow in the dark paint.
Just regular glow in the dark acrylic paint that is non colored.
And then anything I do that’s light should hopefully glow a little stronger just having that come through on the background.
Though I think traditionally,
Traditionally glow in the dark and blacklight art… I feel like it should have a strong black outline.
Because that’s where it came from.
It kind of makes your colors pop a little more.
You can definitely make some really cool, I’ve made some very interesting art without outlines.
Don’t get me wrong.
It’s much more free without outlines.
But when you are painting with acrylics and you are trying to get a very good strong glowing piece with multiple layers you want something that’s not quite as free flowing.
Alright so,
Now that you’ve got your flowers done and your black paint on and everything is dry..
All you have to do is let your piece soak up some sun and then shut the lights off and see how well it glows.

Hello, my name is Bekkerz.
This is my painting.
I just got a new guitar,
so I’m going to jam out on this guitar.
The paint I’m using is Reeve’s watercolor
tubes,
and later I draw over it with bullet proof
black ink
in a JinHao fountain pen.
I like how watercolor bleeds.
It’s a lot of fun.
The Reeve’s watercolors are ok,
but they are not my favorite.
I made the mistake of
going over the tape.
That’s Washi tape..as well,
and I bought it’s a little…
I think they are five by seven (inch)
watercolor card….
that I’m painting on.
Reeve’s watercolors are ok,
some of the colors are not that pigmented though.
I like the red,
I think I was using crimson..
I’m not quite sure.
I wasn’t sure on what yellow I used.
I didn’t have a second to make a sample to figure it out
because I wanted to record this voice over for you.
I’m just playing these two chords,
in a very reassuring manner.

I like watching people watercolor.
They are so cool, the really talented watercolor artists.

in a long time,
because I just can’t seem to do it
on a normal sized guitar.
And I bought this little guitar recently,
and it’s a lot of fun to play F chords on.

I do like this guy a lot though,
the one I am currently doodling.

Hi, this is Bekkerz.

Thanks for clicking on this psychedelic art watercolor timelapse.

I’m using noodler’s ghost ink as the water
base to activate you know…use my watercolors.

I don’t know what they call that…dispersing
the water color?

Or what?
But anyway…

The water that you see in this video

is actually noodler’s ghost ink.

So it will glow under blacklight.

Which you will see eventually here.

And I’m using the wet on wet technique, so

I actually went in and I drew those lines

with just the…just the ink first.

Then I added the color and let it bleed across what I had already drawn.
Yep…yeah…

I used a waterbrush… I like water brushes.
The waterbrush is full of the UV ink, which

makes life easier for doing this sort of thing.
Then later on I used a kaweco sport fountain

pen with some black platinum carbon ink.
That’s what’s going on right now.

I waited until the piece was dry to do this.
And I just drew, you know, drew all over and

it was fun to kind of doodle.
It’s definitely a doodle.

I don’t know what is going on with this one.
It’s…it’s another, you know…”let’s see

what happens” sort of piece.
I do like the triangles.

Triangles are pretty cool.
I also like using the UV ink.

Watercolors are so hard to store though…and
keep clean.

The pallet I bought is not great.
I just, I don’t know how I feel about watercolors.

They’re ok…
I think I want to try watercolor pencils.

I’m still finding my medium.
When I find that medium…I’m going to focus

on it and make a thousand pieces in that same
medium.

It’s going to be great.
There is the piece glowing in black light.

Only the light sections really glow.

Hiya, I’m Bekkerz.

Welcome to my video.
We are making this speedpaint.
Watercolor blacklight ultraviolet amazing UV speedpainting.
This was kind of an experiment.
One of my first ones…
I think this is my first official experiment of a finished piece using watercolor and uv ink to dilute it.
So it was an experiment and I think it came out cool.
I wish I had stopped a little earlier with blending.
I have a problem with over blending.

I do the same thing with my makeup.
I over blend things and then you can’t see them and there not as pretty anymore.
It’s sad.
But, I am learning.
So I pretty much just used some invisible UV ink, I used some watercolor tubes, I used I think three paint brushes.
I blended it out.
I got a cool effect, and you will see shortly it glows under UV blacklights.
Once it dried I like to draw on it with fountain pens.
I just decided to do a little doodle type drawing onto this pretty ultraviolet watercolor background.
It’s a pretty gradient.
I think it’s a pretty gradient.
I don’t know, what do you think?
Do you like the gradient?
Do you think I over blended it?
Could I have I have blended it more??
I don’t know!

This little dude is cool.
I think it looks like a gopher.
I might be crazy, but I think it looks like some sort of rodent.
Some sort of creature.
So technically, the ink I used was UV dye, ultraviolet dye.
It wasn’t ink.
And I just used the electric blue color which is a nice clear non-noticeable color.
It did make the whole piece kinda blue though under ultraviolet.
I might have used too much of it.
Like I said, this is my first piece trying this whole watercolor ultraviolet idea that I came up with a little while ago.
I think it’s awesome.
The first test piece I did I came out with a much cooler effect I think.
I will do that more in the future.
Where there is a lot more contrast and glowing effect only in the lighter parts of the piece.
But this piece is just a gradient.
I’m just kind of messing around, messing around…with watercolors still.

I’m learning.
I’m watching youtube videos.
They are amazing.
These people can make the coolest art in the world.
And I strive to be one of these people.
Which is funny (haha).

This is made with UV inks.  Lots and lots of UV inks.

DarkLightFX makes the UV inks I used.

I used a variety of shades from the same company.

I drew this picture out with pencil first.

It was loosely followed during the painting process.

Hi I’m Bekkerz.

Thanks for clicking on my video.

This is a UV painting of a Glowing Squid,

and it glows under blacklight.

That’s the whole UV thing,

it glows under black light… YEAH!

Ok, so I drew it in with a #2 pencil,

and then I fixed it with a gum eraser because

I just kept changing it a whole bunch.

This is not an anatomically correct squid,

and I’m sure people who care about anatomically

correct squids are not impressed with this

not anatomically correct squid.

Ok so the purple that I used is dark light

fx uh.. atomic purple…

and the red is the same company that dark

light company um, called fire red.

The orange is atomic orange.

All their names are really awesome.

I think they’re pretty awesome.

They’re a little faint at first,

you kinda have to layer these colors to get

a good, a good picture in daylight I think.

at least in my opinion

or else it kinda looks, i dont know

it looks a little washed out if you don’t

layer them

the pink i’m using is called fuchsia fire

see awesome name right?

it’s a great name…

i think it’s awesome anyway

and I just kept layering it on there

i’m using water brushes

i also use some regular paint brushes

just…just putting a whole bunch of color

on there

the blue is called blizzard blue

which i think is an awesome name

and I just keep layering it

that’s pretty much all i did with this

see it looks a little faint right now

and oh….oh …oh no…

oh well…

ok…

my camera dropped a whole bunch of frames

and i ended up with literally three frames

from fifteen minutes….

so sorry! that was a whole bunch of blending

and layering.

um..

i hope you will forgive me, for my horrible

technical difficulties

that i had

i didn’t want you to not see the squid though

i thought the squid was pretty cool when he

was done

just letting it flow!

putting so much paint on this thing

i’m getting better

with my flowing of the paint

and learning when to leave it alone

there’s moments where i wish i had

left it alone but you know

i’m glad with how it turned out

i like his attitude at the end

right now he’s a little…yeah! there with

go

now he looks unimpressed

that is one unimpressed squid

alright

that’s my painting….

oh, maybe not.

maybe i need a little more orange

i definitely needed some more orange in there

yeah

yep…more orange…

there we go.
